A Golden Way of Life – TRES'ORS on Display at MGM05 Jun 2017

In order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of MGM Macau, MGM is holding 'A Golden Way of Life – TRES'ORS', exhibiting for the first time over 250 golden works of art from the 17th Century to modern times. Part of Le French May activities, 'A Golden Way of Life – TRES'ORS' welcomes residents and visitors to feast their eyes on these collections.

The exhibition - organised by French curator Anne Camilli, founder of Le Musée à la Carte® and Gilles Bonnevialle, chairman of Maecenae - features ancient and contemporary art pieces, religious antiquities, ancient furniture, clothes and accessories, jewellery and watches, daily objects and more.

The multi-themed exhibition features Gold and Materials; Sacred Gold; and Gold and Art and so forth, featuring a chasuble of gold and silver embroidery from 19th Century Chasuble Angélique, religious pieces from Musée Notre-Dame de Fourvière in Lyon, La Jeune Fille à la Colombe – a sculpture created by Ossip Zadkine in the 1930's, and Kiss me Forever Julien Doré – a painting created by contemporary artist Hélène Tran as a tribute to French singer Julien Doré.

The exhibition also includes jewels from the Boucheron collection featuring famous clothing and accessory companies like Schiaparelli, Paco Rabanne, Yves Saint Laurent, and Guerlain. Beautifully crafted 18th and 19th Century clocks and watches from the Musée de l'Horlogerie de Morteau are also on display.

'A Golden Way of Life – TRES'ORS' runs from 21st April until 3rd September in the MGM Art Space, open from Tuesday to Sunday (12:00 noon to 9:00pm) and is closed on Mondays (except public holidays).
