The Festooned Vehicle Parade - the highlight of the Water Festival - gets rolling on 27th April, with floats departing at 9:30am and 2:00pm plus 9:00am on the following day (28th April) traversing locations on the Macao Peninsula and Taipa bestowing luck and fortune upon residents and visitors.

Another highlight of the Festival - the Water Festival Carnival - will be held from 10:00am to 5:00pm on 28th April, with the ever popular ‘Water Zone’ set up on Macau Fisherman’s Wharf’s Legend Boulevard. The Carnival also features a photo-taking zone, blessing ceremony, booths of tempting Southeast Asian food plus folk music and games.

From 1:00pm to 10:00pm on 27th April, the ever popular Myanmar and Southeast Asia Cuisine and Cultural Festival will be held on Rua da Restauração, offering a smorgasbord of tempting Southeast Asian delights. And from 4:00pm to 5:00pm, a Blessings Parade will be held in the Three Lamps District (Rotunda de Carlos da Maia) and Bairro de San Kio, expressed very physically by the joyful - very random! - splashing of water on participants, followed in the evening by folk music and dance performances from 7:30pm to 10:00pm in the Three Lamps District.
