Macau Grand Prix Racing Cars Showcasing at Macau International Airport10 Nov 2011

To align with the 58th Macau Grand Prix that will roar the city and our tourists with four-day races starting from 17th November, Macau International Airport Company Ltd continues work with the Macau Government Tourist Office & Macau Grand Prix Committee displaying the winning Formula 3 car and motorcycle inside the airport arrival and departure hall.

Macau Grand Prix has been organized annually since 1954 and will mark its 58th year of history in 2011.  This racing event attracts many world-class car racers, media and visitors to Macau every year.  It benefits the economy of Macau along with great publicity as well as the economy of tourism.  The displaying Formula 3 car was once raced by the renowned champion, Japanese racer – Mr. Takuma Sato during 2001 in Macau, while British racer - Mr. Michael Rutter’s winning motorcycle of 2003 was also at the scene.

The two cars are now showcasing at show at the Macau International Airport departure hall and arrival hall baggage claim area, the exhibition period is from 4th - 23rd November. In the meantime, visitors landed at Macau International Airport can immediately feel the atmosphere of Macau Grand Prix, and also recollect good memories for the departure passengers. We hope the public and visitors to enjoy the feelings of vitality and dynamism of the 58th Macau Grand Prix at MIA.
