Macau International Airport Participation in Beijing Daxing Airport Exchange Activities17 Jan 2020

Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) participated in the "Air Macau - Beijing Daxing International Airport First Flight Group" hosted by the Macau Chinese Enterprise Association and invitation by the Macau Civil Aviation Authority from 13th – 15th January 2020. A hundred members of the whole delegation, including the representatives of the Liaison Office of the Central Peoples’s Government, relevant departments of the SAR Government, local businessmen in Macau and Chinese-funded enterprises, etc.

On the first day of the event, the delegation attended the Air Macau’s Macau to Beijing Daxing inaugural flight ceremony held at the Macau International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport respectively. Afterward, a familiarisation tour to the newly built passenger terminal was conducted for the overall planning and design, architectural features, functional processes, passenger services and other facilities. Magnificent atmosphere, fusion of art space and smooth process are apparently observed. After the visit, an exchange meeting was held at the evening. Members of the delegation expressed the high-quality and modernization evaluations of the Daxing Airport, praising the great achievements of the development of Mainland China, and being a model for Macau's development and worth learning for integration into the construction of the Greater Bay Area. The 3-days schedule also included visits to the Exhibition Center for Beijing Winter Olympics Games and the Paralympic Winter Games, Shougang Industry Evolution Exhibition Showroom.
