MIA Representatives Attended the 2017 IATA Day24 Nov 2017

International Air Transport Association (IATA) held its annual event - IATA Day at Shenzhen on 21st November, 2017. Director of Finance and Administration Department of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) - Ms. Grace Cheang lead a delegation of Macau International Airport (MIA) to attend the meeting.

Regional Vice President for North Asia – Mr. Zhang Baojian gave a welcome speech, conducted an analysis of aviation industry development status and the prospect of the future is presented. It is expected to simplify the airport security procedures which may result in saving of time for passengers. The meeting was centered on real time settlement and the future trending of the airport development. The representative from IATA analyzed conflicts between rapid development of civil aviation and infrastructure construction, and the contradiction between market demand and service structure. Other speakers shared inspiration from the development tendency, the borders of time and space of services provided by civil aviation enterprises would become more and more blurred, and products would tend to be more integrated along with the combination between aviation and non-aviation service products. Some aviation experts and supplier shared a number of solutions which promote smooth operation and efficient air transportation, in order to make existing technical system function fully to satisfy both passengers and aviation enterprise.

Other representatives from MIA: Managing Director of Airport Information Management Solutions (AIMS) - Ms. Sharon Wang, Deputy Director of Marketing Department of CAM – Mr. Franco, Manager of Corporate Communication & Policy Research Office – Ms. Miley Kou and of Logistics and General Aviation Development Department – Ms. Emma Zhou.
