CAM’s Representative participated in “Beijing Global Friend Airports CEO Forum”11 Sep 2017

On 6th September, 2017, Chief Representative of Beijing Representative Office of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM), Ms. Yuan Weifang has participated in the “6th Beijing Global Friend Airports CEO Forum” hosted by Beijing Capital International Airport, the theme of the forum is “Build Consensus, Innovate Development”.  In the Forum, special representative from international organization, international airports, CEOs of the major airport authorities in China and representatives from international airlines, share the experience of airport development, exchange view and discuss the future development trend.

In the Opening Ceremony, Chairman of the Beijing Capital International Airport, Mr. Liu Xuesong stated that in the era of economics globalization, airports are the hub to connect the world, the infrastructure of the New Beijing Airport will apply the dual hub format, and the 4 characteristics of dual hub are: Balance Development, Independent Operation, Strength Competition and Complementary Advantages.  He believed the operation of dual hub will help to increase Beijing’s competitiveness and influence as an international hub.

The CEO forum and Round table conference for friend airports were held during the two days meeting.  This year, the three main themes of the CEO forum were: 1.Enhancing the competitiveness of Global Airport Groups through innovative cooperation, 2.Improving operation efficiency of large scale hub airports, 3.Building partnership to develop world class international hub.  These tropics are the main concern of the aviation industry, through communication with the top management in aviation industry, by sharing the experience and knowledge to each other, it enhanced the operation between airports and to improve the development of global airport industry.  In the Round table conference, airport authorities shared their successful experience, and expand the close operation with one another.
